In 1978 my father and uncle started their local bike shop LEGERI in Dordrecht, Netherlands. As a kid I grew up between all the beautiful road bikes. In those days a whole range of brands were sold at LEGERI. For example frames and bikes from Colnago, Bianchi, ALAN, Gazelle, Concorde, Scapin, Gios, Zullo, Clemenso, Superia, Jan Janssen, Vitus, Panasonic, Specialized, and parts and accessories from Campagnolo, Shimano, 3ttt, Cinelli, Galli, Suntour, Vittoria, Miche, Gipiemme, Modolo, Mavic, etc.
My first real road bike was a steel Libertas with 24 tubular wheels and a single speed. I rode this bike when a was a kid of 9 years old. As a kid I soon started with helping my father in his workshop. When I was about 12 years old, I laced a wheel for the first time. Some years later I was able to do all workshop jobs.
As my father retired in the year 2000 the shop was closed but we all kept cycling. I got my degree in Human movement science and started to work in this field. Around 2015 I started to buy used road bikes, service them and sold them again. Unfortunately, some bicycles were too far gone to get a second life, but some of the parts were still perfect. I sold these parts on various online marketplaces. My stock of parts is now somewhat larger and I sell them on Legeri.com.
I do my utmost to represent the parts as accurately as possible. Damage areas or defects are always mentioned.
If you have any questions prior to your purchase, I will do my best to answer them as quickly and as best as possible.
